The Patek Philippe Golden Ellipse Rare Handcrafts pairs a 34.5 mm white gold case with a dial finished in hand engraving and black enamel. These surface treatments place the emphasis on the dial’s workmanship. A black alligator leather strap accompanies the case, secured by a white gold prong buckle that carries the case material through to the fastening. Inside this unisex wristwatch is the ultra-thin automatic calibre 240, offering a power reserve of 48 hours. The movement’s slim construction provides a technical counterpart to the dial’s decorative work. Water resistance is specified at 0 metres, so the watch is not water-resistant.
