Every season, hundreds of references pass before us. Only dozens remain. The question we ask ourselves is never 'will this sell?', but 'will this endure?'.
Three criteria carry weight: mechanical relevance, the rarity of the execution, and whether the piece will still tell a story worth telling in twenty years.
