Maison Stories
A house since 1848

Seven generations, two boutiques and one conviction: selling is merely the end of a conversation that lasts for years.
When Joseph De Greef opened his doors in the heart of Brussels in 1848, a watch was still an instrument. Today it has become a bearer of memory — and that is precisely why a family house handles it differently than a chain.
Across seven generations, the approach has remained remarkably constant. We do not sell what is in stock, we seek out what suits. Clients return with the watch their father bought here, and leave with a piece for their daughter.
This continuity is not nostalgia. It is the reason houses such as Patek Philippe have entrusted us with their name since 1963, and why our Atelier Wittmann still sets stones rather than ordering them.
