In the atelier: the hand behind the stone
7 min lezen

Our setters, gemmologists and watchmakers on precision, patience and the moment a jewel comes together.
Setting a solitaire takes hours. Not because it must be slow, but because every tenth of a millimetre determines how light will later travel through the stone.
In our atelier, gemmologists and setters work side by side. The stone is read first — colour, clarity, character — only then does it receive a setting that serves it, rather than the other way round.
The same applies to our watchmakers, who also maintain timepieces from other brands. Whoever truly understands a mechanism recognises wear before it becomes damage.
